Every child carries the seed of something new, and that seed only grows when a child feels their life is truly their own.
Children are not passive observers waiting to grow up. They are actively processing the planet, their environment, and the complexities of the world in their own distinct ways. That is why MyBirdy creates stories grounded in actual developmental biology: we want to give children active tools to find joy, understand their world, and claim their individuality from the very beginning.
My journey to building MyBirdy didn't start in publishing; it started in health tech. Building getlevel.health, which translates biological data into clear, personalized actions for adults with busy schedules and health struggles, left me with one conviction: the foundation for lifelong well-being and resilience is not built when we are burned-out adults. It is built in childhood. Today, I bring the same care and rigour to children's literature. Think of it as the Akka who sits down and explains the world properly.
Second-time founder with a background in Mathematics and international product strategy, and a career spent making complicated things simple. Previously built getlevel.health, a personalized health platform for adults, from the ground up. Now bringing that same rigour to childhood development, because the stories that shape a child's foundation deserve the same care as the systems built for adults.
